petroleum manga

was reading artist marina zurkow’s post-script piece on plastic in the collection and wanted to do it for real– instead of letting them make my already written shorts plastic via recontextualization (not that plastic a motion, after all, just what was available at the time) wanting to take those mers and nurdles (!), the toxicity of recycling, and the idea of CO2 liberation, a moment of atmospheric saturation that I think could be applied to form and language as plastic.  But maybe it should just be a cartoon.

anyhow ms. zurkow is making me pretty happy today.  http://www.o-matic.com/play/index.html
